The Palace Theatre is a West End theatre located at Cambridge Circus at the junction of Shaftesbury Avenue and Charing Cross Road in the City of Westminster, London. Built in 1888–1891 as the Royal English Opera House, it was subsequently converted to a variety theatre before becoming a mainstream producing house. The theatre has 1,400 seats and is known for long-running musicals, including its long associations with Jesus Christ Superstar, Les Misérables, and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The building is a Grade II* listed structure.
