Netherbury

Netherbury is a village and civil parish in Dorset, England, situated in the valley of the River Brit approximately two miles south of Beaminster. The village has a medieval church of St Mary and a number of historic stone-built farmhouses and cottages set in gentle hilly countryside. It lies within the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is surrounded by productive farmland and ancient woodland. The village is a quiet rural community with a population of a few hundred people.
