Monkton Combe
Monkton Combe is a small village in Somerset, England, situated in a steep wooded valley approximately three miles south of Bath on the edge of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village is best known as the location of Monkton Combe School, an independent boarding and day school founded in 1868. The Limpley Stoke Valley railway line, now closed, once ran through the valley below the village. The River Midford flows nearby before joining the River Avon at Limpley Stoke.
