Marros Sands

Marros Sands

Marros Sands, Pendine, Carmarthenshire, Wales

Marros Sands is a quiet, relatively secluded beach located a short distance east of Pendine on the Carmarthenshire coast, accessible via a footpath from the nearby village of Marros. The beach is less commercially developed than Pendine Sands itself and offers a more natural and undisturbed experience, with coastal grassland and limestone cliffs backing the sand. The area forms part of the Carmarthen Bay coastline close to the boundary of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The surrounding countryside includes the ancient St Lawrence Church at Marros, set in a circular churchyard suggesting early medieval origins.
