Marble Hill House
Marble Hill House is a Palladian villa set in Marble Hill Park on the banks of the River Thames in Twickenham, in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. It was built between 1724 and 1729 for Henrietta Howard, mistress of King George II and later Countess of Suffolk. The house is a fine example of English Palladianism and is managed by English Heritage, having undergone a major restoration programme in the early 2020s. The surrounding public park extends along the Thames riverbank and is a popular open space for the local community.
