Malham Cove
Malham Cove is a large curved limestone cliff formation near the village of Malham in the Yorkshire Dales, rising around 80 metres above the valley floor. It was formed thousands of years ago when glacial meltwater carved through the limestone, and the top features an expansive limestone pavement created by centuries of weathering. The cove is a popular destination for walkers and climbers, and gained wider recognition when it was used as a filming location in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
