London Aquarium
The Sea Life London Aquarium is a large public aquarium located in the former County Hall on the South Bank of the River Thames in central London, adjacent to Westminster Bridge. Originally opened as the London Aquarium in 1997, it is one of Europe's largest aquariums and displays fish and marine life from around the world across a series of themed tanks and exhibits, including large shark and ray tanks. The aquarium occupies the basement and lower floors of the historic County Hall building, which was the headquarters of the London County Council and subsequently the Greater London Council until its abolition in 1986. The site also houses the London Dungeon and Shrek's Adventure.
