Llanwonno
Llanwonno is a small hamlet and isolated community in the Rhondda Cynon Taf county borough of south Wales, situated on a forested ridge between the Rhondda and Cynon valleys at an elevation of approximately 380 metres. The hamlet has a small church, St Gwynno's, which is associated with the grave of Guto Nyth Bran, the legendary 18th-century Welsh long-distance runner. The surrounding forestry plantation, Llanwonno Forest, is managed by Natural Resources Wales and is popular with walkers and mountain bikers. The area offers panoramic views over the surrounding valleys and to the Brecon Beacons to the north.
