Liverpool Street Station

Liverpool Street Station, London, England

London Liverpool Street is a major railway terminus and London Underground station located in the City of London and the London Borough of Hackney. Opened in 1874, it serves as the London terminus for Great Eastern Main Line services to East Anglia, including trains to Cambridge, Norwich, Ipswich, and Stansted Airport. The station is the third busiest in the UK and forms part of the Elizabeth line, connecting it to stations across London from Reading and Heathrow in the west to Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east. The station was substantially rebuilt in the 1980s with a new shopping concourse while retaining elements of its Victorian fabric.
