Leighton Hall

Leighton Hall is a country house located near Carnforth in Lancashire, set against the backdrop of the Lakeland fells. The house has a Gothic Revival facade dating from the early 19th century and has been the family home of the Gillow family, associated with the famous Gillow furniture-making dynasty, since 1822. It is open to the public and is known for its collection of Gillow furniture, its gardens, and its birds of prey displays. The estate is set within parkland with views toward the mountains of the Lake District.
