Ladbroke Grove

Ladbroke Grove is a major road and district in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in west London, running north from Notting Hill Gate. The area developed as a residential district in the mid-19th century and is associated with the diverse, multicultural character of the Notting Hill neighbourhood. The street is known for its large Victorian townhouses, many converted into flats, and its proximity to the Portobello Road market. It is also the location of the annual Notting Hill Carnival, one of the largest street festivals in the world.
