Killeen Castle
Killeen Castle is a medieval castle and estate in County Meath, located near Dunsany, approximately 30 kilometres northwest of Dublin. The original castle dates from the 13th century and was associated with the Cusack and later the Plunkett family, Earls of Fingall, for several centuries. The estate was redesigned in the early 19th century by the architect Francis Johnston and more recently redeveloped as a luxury hotel and golf resort. The surrounding parkland is a characteristic example of Irish estate landscape.
