Kilkenny
Kilkenny is an inland county in the southeast of Ireland in the province of Leinster, drained largely by the River Nore and its tributaries. Kilkenny city, the county town, is one of Ireland's best-preserved medieval cities and is dominated by Kilkenny Castle, a Norman stronghold on the banks of the Nore. The county is largely agricultural with a rolling limestone landscape. It is bordered by Tipperary, Carlow, Wexford, Waterford, and Laois.
