Keswick
Keswick is a market town in Cumbria, England, situated at the northern end of Derwentwater in the Lake District, between the lake and the slopes of Skiddaw, the fourth highest mountain in England. It is the principal town of the northern Lake District and a major centre for walking, climbing, and outdoor pursuits. The town has strong literary associations with the Romantic poets, particularly Robert Southey and Samuel Taylor Coleridge, who lived there in the early 19th century. The Keswick Museum and the Derwent Pencil Museum are among the town's notable attractions.
