Keighley
Keighley is a town in the Metropolitan Borough of Bradford in West Yorkshire, situated at the confluence of the rivers Aire and Worth approximately nine miles north-west of Bradford. The town developed as an important centre of textile manufacturing and engineering during the Industrial Revolution and is the starting point of the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, the heritage steam line that runs to Haworth and Oxenhope. Keighley is a gateway to the Brontë Country of the nearby Haworth Moor and is close to the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The town is served by the Airedale Line with rail connections to Leeds and Bradford.
