Helensburgh, Argyll & Bute, Scotland

Helensburgh is a town on the north side of the Firth of Clyde in Scotland, situated at the mouth of the Gareloch, and is the largest settlement in Argyll and Bute with a population of around 15,160. Historically part of Dunbartonshire, it became part of Argyll and Bute following local government reorganisation in 1996. The town is notable as the birthplace of television inventor John Logie Baird and is home to the internationally renowned Hill House designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
