Hampstead
Hampstead is an affluent residential district in the London Borough of Camden, situated on a hill in northern London approximately 4 miles from the City of London. The area is known for Hampstead Heath, a large and ancient open space of 790 acres offering views across the London skyline, as well as ponds, woodland, and Kenwood House, a neoclassical mansion with an art collection open to the public. Hampstead village retains many Georgian and Victorian streets and has historically been associated with artists, writers, and intellectuals.
