Hammersmith

Hammersmith is a district in west London forming part of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, situated on the north bank of the River Thames approximately five miles west of Charing Cross. It is a major commercial and transport hub, containing one of London's busiest road interchanges at the Hammersmith flyover. The area is known for the Hammersmith Apollo, a large and historic live music and entertainment venue. Hammersmith is served by four London Underground lines, making it one of the most accessible districts in west London.
