Goudhurst is a village in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Kent, England, situated approximately eleven miles east of Tunbridge Wells on a prominent hilltop. The village is noted for its picturesque main street of tile-hung and weatherboarded houses descending from the hilltop church to the pond at the lower end of the village. The Church of St Mary the Virgin stands at the summit and the village is one of the most photographed settlements in the Weald. The surrounding area is characterised by hop gardens, orchards, and the irregular wooded landscape typical of the High Weald.
