Gerrards Cross is a affluent village and civil parish in Buckinghamshire, England, situated approximately eighteen miles west of central London in the Chiltern Hills. The village developed substantially following the arrival of the Great Western and Great Central Joint Railway in 1906, which made it attractive as a commuter settlement for London. It is served by Chiltern Railways with fast services to London Marylebone and is close to the M40 and M25 motorways. The surrounding area includes common land, woodland, and the nearby village of Chalfont St Peter.
