Gatwick Airport is the second largest airport in the United Kingdom by passenger numbers, located approximately 28 miles south of central London near the town of Crawley in West Sussex. The airport consists of two terminals, the North and South Terminals, connected by an automated people mover, and handles approximately 46 million passengers annually in normal operations, making it one of the busiest single-runway airports in the world. Gatwick is served by rail connections to London Victoria and London Bridge stations and is a major hub for low-cost carriers including easyJet and Norwegian.
