Freshford
Freshford is a small village in Somerset, England, situated at the confluence of the River Frome and the River Avon, approximately five miles south-east of Bath. The village is set in a wooded valley on the edge of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and retains a largely unspoilt rural character with stone-built cottages. It is connected to Bath by rail via Freshford station on the Avon Valley line. The village lies close to the historic mill village of Limpley Stoke and the Inn at Freshford is a well-known local landmark.
