Falkner Square

Falkner Square is a large Victorian garden square in the Georgian Quarter of Liverpool, surrounded by handsome brick terraced houses of the 19th century. The square is one of several formal garden squares in the neighbourhood and is characteristic of the planned residential development that expanded Liverpool outwards from the city centre in the early to mid-19th century. The area is part of a conservation zone and is located close to Liverpool's two cathedrals, representing a well-preserved district of considerable architectural merit.
