Dublin

Dublin is the capital and largest city of Ireland, situated on the east coast at the mouth of the River Liffey on Dublin Bay. It is one of the fastest-growing capitals in Europe and serves as Ireland's economic, political, cultural, and social centre, home to approximately a third of the country's total population in its greater metropolitan area. The city has a rich Georgian and Victorian architectural heritage, particularly in the area around Merrion Square and St Stephen's Green, and is home to Trinity College, the National Museum, and Dublin Castle. Dublin is accessible from the United Kingdom via numerous ferry and air connections and has grown significantly as a European financial and technology hub.
