Derbyshire, England

Derbyshire is an inland county in the East Midlands of England, straddling the southern end of the Pennines. The northern part of the county is dominated by the Peak District, England's first national park, which encompasses the wild gritstone moorlands of the Dark Peak and the limestone dales of the White Peak. The county has a rich industrial heritage, encompassing both the lead mining of the Dales and some of the world's first water-powered textile mills in the Derwent Valley. Matlock serves as the county town, while Derby is the largest city.
