Crag Lough
Crag Lough is a small, naturally formed lake situated beneath the dramatic Whin Sill crags in Northumberland, close to the route of Hadrian's Wall. It is one of four lakes along the central section of the wall and sits in a particularly scenic location, with Hadrian's Wall running along the top of the escarpment immediately above the water. The lake and its surroundings are managed as part of the Hadrian's Wall World Heritage Site and form part of the Northumberland National Park. It is a popular viewpoint on the Hadrian's Wall Path National Trail, offering one of the most iconic views of the wall.
