Coronet Cinema
The Coronet Cinema is a historic cinema located on Notting Hill Gate in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in London. The building was originally constructed in 1898 as a theatre and was subsequently converted to a cinema, becoming one of the oldest surviving purpose-built entertainment venues in London. The auditorium retains much of its original Victorian decoration, giving it a distinctly atmospheric character. The cinema was a featured location in the 1999 romantic comedy film Notting Hill, appearing as the cinema where the characters played by Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts go on a date.
