Clapham

Clapham is a district in the London Borough of Lambeth in south London, situated approximately three miles south of Charing Cross. It is known for Clapham Common, a large open space of approximately 220 acres that serves as a major recreational area for south London. The area around Clapham Old Town and Clapham High Street has developed into a lively residential and entertainment quarter popular with young professionals. Clapham is served by Clapham Common, Clapham South, and Clapham North Underground stations on the Northern line.
