Chilworth Manor is a country house located in the village of Chilworth in Surrey, approximately four miles south-east of Guildford in the Surrey Hills. The house is of medieval origin with subsequent rebuilding and stands in grounds above the Tillingbourne valley. The surrounding area is notable for the ruins of a Cistercian priory and the remains of gunpowder mills that operated on the River Tillingbourne from the 17th century until 1920, now managed by the National Trust. The village lies within the North Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
