Chideock is a village in Dorset, England, situated in a valley on the A35 road approximately two miles west of Bridport. The village lies close to the Jurassic Coast and is within the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with Langdon Hill and Golden Cap, the highest point on the south coast of England, lying within walking distance to the south. The village has a Roman Catholic church commemorating the Chideock Martyrs, a group of Catholics executed in the late 16th century. It is a popular base for walkers exploring the Heritage Coast.
