Castle Stalker
Castle Stalker is a medieval tower house situated on a small tidal islet in Loch Laich, an inlet off Loch Linnhe, approximately 25 miles north of Oban on the west coast of Scotland. The four-storey keep dates largely from the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries and was associated with the Stewart Lords of Lorn. The castle is accessible by boat and is a private residence, occasionally opened to the public for tours. It is perhaps best known internationally as a filming location for Monty Python and the Holy Grail, in which it appeared as Castle Aaaargh.
