Broadgate Plaza
Broadgate is a large office and retail development in the City of London, built around Liverpool Street station between 1985 and 1991. The complex covers 32 acres and contains approximately 4 million square feet of office space in a series of buildings arranged around open public spaces. Broadgate Circle, an elliptical space at the heart of the development, contains restaurants and bars and in winter hosts an ice rink, making it a popular destination. The development serves as the European headquarters for numerous major financial and professional services firms.
