Blyth Power Station

Blyth Power Station, Northumberland, England

Blyth Power Station was a large coal-fired electricity generating station located on the north bank of the River Blyth estuary at Cambois, near Blyth in Northumberland, England. The station comprised two separate plants, A and B stations, with the iconic rows of cooling towers forming a prominent industrial landscape on the Northumberland coast. Both stations were decommissioned and demolished by the early 2000s. The site has since been redeveloped as part of wider regeneration efforts along the Northumberland coast.
