Blairquhan Castle

Blairquhan Castle is a Regency Gothic country house situated beside the Water of Girvan near Straiton in South Ayrshire, Scotland. The current castle was built between 1820 and 1824 to a design by William Burn for Sir David Hunter Blair, replacing an earlier tower house on the same site. The castle is set in parkland with a long private drive along the river and is surrounded by extensive policies with walled gardens. It remains in private ownership and is available for private hire and events.
