Blackpool Sands

Blackpool Sands is a privately owned beach in a sheltered bay near the village of Stoke Fleming, approximately 3 miles south of Dartmouth in south Devon, and is entirely unrelated to Blackpool in Lancashire. The beach is set in a horseshoe-shaped bay sheltered by cliffs and pine trees and is widely regarded as one of the finest beaches in south Devon, with clean, crystal-clear water that has earned it Blue Flag status. The beach is managed by the Kellond-Knight family, who charge for parking and maintain high standards of cleanliness and facilities. The surrounding cliffs and wooded slopes create a particularly attractive and intimate beach setting.
