Berry Pomeroy Church

Berry Pomeroy Church is the parish church of St Mary the Virgin, located in the village of Berry Pomeroy near Totnes in Devon, England. The church dates from the 15th century and is built in the Perpendicular Gothic style, with a prominent west tower, and stands adjacent to the lane leading to Berry Pomeroy Castle. The interior retains original carved wooden rood screens considered among the finest in Devon. The village and church are set in a deeply rural wooded valley in the South Hams district.
