Athersley

Athersley is a residential suburb located in the metropolitan borough of Barnsley, South Yorkshire, England, situated to the north of Barnsley town centre. The area developed primarily in the 20th century as a housing estate and is largely suburban in character, with local amenities and schools serving the community.
