Athelhampton House

Athelhampton House is a medieval manor house located near the village of Puddletown in Dorset, England. It is considered one of the finest examples of domestic Gothic architecture in the country, with the main hall dating from around 1485. The house is surrounded by elaborate formal gardens, including a series of walled courts with yew pyramids, fountains, and a canal, which were laid out in the late nineteenth century. Athelhampton is a Grade I listed building and is open to the public as a historic house attraction.
