Arsenal Football Club's current home ground is the Emirates Stadium, located in Holloway, north London, in the London Borough of Islington. The stadium opened in 2006 and has a seating capacity of approximately 60,000, making it the second-largest football club ground in England. Prior to the Emirates, Arsenal played for over ninety years at Highbury Stadium, also in north London, which has since been redeveloped into residential apartments. The club is one of the most successful in English football history and a founding member of the Premier League.
