Aldenham

Aldenham is a village and civil parish in Hertfordshire, England, situated approximately 5 kilometres south of Watford and 18 kilometres north of central London. The village is surrounded by the Aldenham Country Park, centred on Aldenham Reservoir, a large artificial lake. Nearby is Elstree and Borehamwood, one of the UK's principal film and television production centres, with which the Aldenham area is closely associated. The village retains a rural character despite its proximity to the London conurbation.
