Albury Park

Albury Park, Guildford, Surrey, England

Albury Park is a country house and estate in the village of Albury in Surrey, approximately six miles east of Guildford in the Surrey Hills. The present house was remodelled by Augustus Pugin for Henry Drummond in the 1840s in a Tudor Gothic style, and the estate contains the remarkable terraced gardens laid out in the late 17th century attributed to John Evelyn. The gardens, managed by the National Trust as a detached property, are open to the public on selected days. The estate lies in the valley of the River Tillingbourne below the North Downs escarpment.
