This sweeping biographical film charts the early life of Winston Churchill, from his unhappy Edwardian childhood through his reckless military adventures in Cuba, India and the Sudan to his dramatic escape from Boer captivity and first steps in politics. Simon Ward plays the young Churchill in this handsome production based on Churchill's own autobiographical writings.
