Hideous Kinky

In the early 1970s, a bohemian English mother takes her two young daughters to live in Marrakech as she pursues spiritual fulfilment and a free-spirited life, while her children struggle to find stability amidst the beauty and chaos. Based on Esther Freud's semi-autobiographical novel, the film is a sun-drenched and melancholy portrait of unconventional childhood.
