Danson House
Danson House is a Palladian villa built in the 1760s for John Boyd, a West Indies merchant, situated in Danson Park in Bexleyheath in the London Borough of Bexley. The house was designed by Sir Robert Taylor and features a fine interior with painted decorations by Charles Pavillon and plasterwork by Joseph Rose. It fell into disrepair during the 20th century and was extensively restored in the early 2000s by English Heritage and Bexley Council, reopening to the public in 2005. The house is a Grade I listed building set in landscape gardens within Danson Park.
