The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway is a heritage steam railway in West Yorkshire, England, running approximately 8 kilometres from Keighley, where it connects with the Airedale Line, to Oxenhope through the Worth Valley. The line was opened in 1867 as a branch line and was closed by British Railways in 1962, but was subsequently reopened and preserved by volunteers in 1968. It operates steam and diesel locomotives on a regular service throughout the year, with a particular emphasis on period events. The railway is internationally known as the filming location for the 1970 film The Railway Children.
