Hartland Point

Hartland Point, Devon, England

Hartland Point is a dramatic headland on the north Devon coast, located near the village of Hartland, where the Bristol Channel meets the Atlantic Ocean. The coastline around the point is known for its rugged cliffs, jagged rocks, and powerful seas, making it one of the most exposed and challenging stretches of the British coastline. A lighthouse has stood on the point since 1874, replacing earlier navigational aids. The area is part of the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is popular with walkers exploring the South West Coast Path.
