Corsham Court
Corsham Court is an Elizabethan country house situated in the town of Corsham in Wiltshire, approximately eight miles north-east of Bath. The house was built in 1582 and was subsequently enlarged and remodelled in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, with work carried out by Capability Brown and John Nash. It houses an important collection of Old Master paintings, including works by Van Dyck, Rubens, and Filippino Lippi. The house is surrounded by a landscaped park designed by Capability Brown and is open to the public.
