Newquay
Newquay is a seaside town on the north coast of Cornwall, England, situated approximately 14 miles north of Truro on a stretch of coastline known for its Atlantic-facing surf beaches. The town is regarded as the surfing capital of the United Kingdom, with Fistral Beach hosting major national and international surfing competitions, and attracts large numbers of tourists particularly in the summer months. Newquay also contains the Blue Reef Aquarium and is close to the Newquay Zoo and the prehistoric cliff castle of Trevelgue Head.
