Killin is a small village at the western end of Loch Tay in Stirling council area, Scotland, situated at the confluence of the Rivers Dochart and Lochay. The village is known for the Falls of Dochart, a series of fast-flowing rapids that cascade over rocky outcrops in the centre of the village, and for Inchbuie island in the middle of the falls, the traditional burial ground of Clan MacNab. Killin lies within the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park and is a popular base for walking, climbing, and fishing in the surrounding mountains and glens.
