Haworth

Haworth, Yorkshire, England

Haworth is a village in the Bradford metropolitan district of West Yorkshire, England, situated on the edge of the Pennine moorland approximately 8 miles west of Bradford. The village is internationally known as the home of the Brontë family, and the Brontë Parsonage Museum, located in the former home of Charlotte, Emily, and Anne Brontë, attracts visitors from around the world. The steep cobbled main street and the surrounding bleak moorland landscape, which inspired much of the Brontës' literary work, give Haworth a distinctive and atmospheric character.
